The AP Music Festival is a virtual event where music students showcase their talents in a fun way. It provides an environment for young performers to get experience performing and opportunity to nurture and develop their artistic abilities. Participants will gain valuable feedback from our panel of distinguished, qualified professionals and educators for honing their skills and move to a new level in their playing.
Select participants will win special recognition awards, promotion and performance opportunities, and prize packages and will be featured in the AP Music Series.
All participants will receive recognition for their talents, a feedback packet, a bonus gift, and virtual "stage time." From first-time entries to seasoned competitors, we want to celebrate the strengths and unique gifts of our performers!
Rules and guidelines:
All of the information you submit upon registration must be true and factual. Submissions are solo performance pieces in video format. Performances must be 2 to 5 minutes in length and must reflect your own live performance. Edited, mixed, or digitally enhanced submissions are not allowed. We want to see your raw performance!
Entries will be judged on the following criteria: level of instrument mastery, engagement with the "virtual" audience during the performance, musicianship, quality of overall presentation, enthusiasm and personal presence, selection of valid material, and uniqueness. Selections must be family friendly; use of inappropriate content or language will be automatically disqualified. If you have any questions, please email us via our AP Music contact page.
